DREAM A LITTLE DREAM SAMPLER
Here is progress on the DREAM A LITTLE DREAM Sampler design. It will be released as shown above - the fabric is a sandy beige 18 count Aida and will come with two colours on the chart. There are actually three thread colours included, the dark grey and the red, which is stitched with two different coloured thread lengths threaded in the needle at the same time, a bright red and a darker red. This gives a lovely mottled effect to the red stitching.
Working on a beige fabric can be very forgiving, especially when using few colours, as the tendency, and opportunity, to 'trail' is frequent!
Of course, with a two colour design, the possibilities are endless and there will be an option to purchase the chart only if preferred.
Today I have started to convert the chart for this design for a multi-coloured version, again planned for release as a kit. I began working on white, but somewhere along the way, have decided to switch it to a cream fabric. I am up to 20 colours at the moment and have got to about three quarters of the way through. Too much fun!
